Legal & privacy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
ExhibitBench is developed and published by Serhii Dedik. This page covers both the ExhibitBench macOS application and this website.
The app: no data collection
- ExhibitBench collects no data. No analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts, no identifiers.
- The app has no network access. It is a sandboxed macOS app without network capability, so nothing can be transmitted anywhere - your documents, matter files and settings stay on your Mac.
- Your documents are yours. The app reads the files you choose and writes stamped copies to the folder you choose. Originals are never modified.
- The corresponding App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected", in every category.
This website
- The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts - it is static pages with no JavaScript.
- Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, requested page, browser user agent) for security and operations. They are not used for profiling and are not shared.
- If you email support, we use your message and address only to answer you.
License
ExhibitBench is sold through the Mac App Store. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The purchase is a one-time payment; there is no subscription.
No legal advice
ExhibitBench is document-preparation software, not a law firm, and nothing in the app or on this site is legal advice. Bates numbering conventions, exhibit sticker formats and confidentiality legend wording vary by court, by judge and by protective order. The app ships common presets and a template editor; verifying that output complies with a particular court's requirements remains the responsibility of the filing party.
